Weekend Update

I can't believe that it's Monday morning...but I've had a pretty good weekend! SF Pup is doing well after his surgery. He went through two e-collars so after that we gave up and just kept an eye on him. He's been good about leaving his stitches alone and sits through his neosporin applications like a champ. We even left him alone yesterday for an hour or so outside of his crate and he didn't destroy anything in the apartment! So proud :)

On Saturday, my sorority bff and I went out to brunch and then shopped around for home stuff. She just bought a townhouse in Baltimore and is looking to decorate. It was fun helping her pick out curtains and other stuff. I even picked up a few things for my apartment, including the cutest treat jar from Container Store (I seriously LOVE that store). It was great to hang out with her like old times. When I was living in NY, she was in grad school at Yale, so she used to come down on weekends and hang out with me in the city. We had the best time just walking around the city and doing the most random things. She would help me pick out really random things to send to SF Dude while he was deployed. Seriously some great memories. Oh! I picked up a slow cooker this weekend which I'm pretty excited about. Is that weird? I've never had one before and I love the idea of having a hot dinner waiting for me when I get home...

Speaking of which, I need to run to work. End of the month is always busy for us.
