More presents!

Well I finally broke SF Dude and he told me what my anniversary present was...a GPS! I'd been stealing his for the past two years and I have the sense of direction of a 5 year old. He really didn't want to tell me what it was but I kept asking him questions like is it big? is it small? will I used it every day? will I used it at work? is it electronic? can I listen to music on it? It took about 10 minutes of straight questioning and he finally told me. Sheesh, I can be so annoying! I'm really not great with waiting. Apparently I'm more effective than SERE training :)

Since we both got each other big anniversary presents, we're doing something really small for our birthdays. I set the limit at $20. It sucks that all of our gift giving days (anniversary, birthday, Christmas) are all within a few months of each other. But now I have to think of an awesome $20 gift. I've picked out my birthday present to myself though!

It's an aquamarine on a 16" silver chain from Tiffany's. I have this tradition of buying myself a birthday present every year (well since I started working 5 birthdays ago). I figured why wait for someone else to buy me something when I can buy it for myself? This is a lesson that I will definitely pass on to my future hypothetical daughter. It's always important to treat yourself every once in a while.

Tomorrow is a half day at work! We have some sort of department wide bbq at a local park. Rumor is you have a burger than you get to go home! So I may be out of there by 1 or 2 PM. Sweet! So I just have to get through today...I've already handed in one fraud report and a second is on its way to being done. That and I have some admin stuff to take care of. Alright off to work!
